4:1 redundant L-Band Line Amplifier, 1+1 to 4+1 (variable gain 0 to 40dB) The HQR445C is a compact and flexible 4+1 redundant L-Band line amplifier system built into a 1RU/19” rack mount chassis. The variable gain adjustment ranges from 0 to 40dB (1dB steps) while it also supports slope equalization so to achieve best performance within the RF distribution chain. The HQR445C chassis holds up to five high dynamic HQA45MG amplifier modules (950 – 2150MHz or 850 – 2700MHz) thus allowing an amplifier redundancy operation from 1+1 to max. 4+1 (field expandable, hot-swappable). |

1+1 redundant L-Band Line Amplifier (0 to 40dB gain) The HQR145C is a 1+1 redundant L-Band line amplifier (950 – 2150MHz) with variable gain adjustment (0 to 40dB), slope equalization and various additional functionalities in a compact 1RU/19″ design. This line amplifier is perfectly suited for RF distribution infrastructures wherever accurate RF power, highest stability and availability is necessary. The HQR145C is equipped with two high dynamic 1+1 redundant operating amplifier modules (hot-standby) each providing variable gain so to achieve best performance within the network. The redundancy switching between the two amplifier modules is done nearly interruption free. The unit features variable gain control, slope-equalization, RF power monitoring and 1:1 redundant dual power supply (hot-swappable). Additional features such as AGC mode, switchable LNB-supply and a 10 MHz reference signal port are optionally available. The HQR145C has a front-side LC-Display/keypads for local configuration. Front-side status LED´s indicating amplifier and power supply status. Remote control and configuration can be done via its rear-side Ethernet-Interface (WebGUI, SNMP). |

Single or Quad L-Band Line Amplifiers The HQA series represents high dynamic L-Band line amplifiers with variable gain control ranges of 0 to 30dB or 10 to 40dB. It combines the corresponding 1RU/19″ rack mount chassis „HQA101C“ (single amplifier population) and the “HQA104C“ (quad amplifier population) with the corresponding line amplifier modules „HQA2535M“ or „HQA3040M“. The HQA series features variable gain control, slope equalization, RF power monitoring, switchable LNB-supply, a 10MHz external reference input and 1:1 redundant dual power supply. The units have front side LC-Display/keypads for local configuration while remote configuration is possible via its Ethernet-Interface or RS232-Interface (WebGUI, SNMP). The unit features max. 1:32 L-Band splitting while the two high-dynamic redundant operating amplifier modules allow variable gain control 0 to 25dB as well as slope equalization 0 to 9dB so to reach best RF performance within the network. The redundancy switching between the two amplifier modules is done nearly interruption free. The unit features 8:1 to max. 32:1 L-Band combining while the two high-dynamic redundant operating amplifier modules allow variable gain control from 0 to 25dB as well as slope equalization 0 to 7dB so to reach best RF signal performance within the network. The redundancy switching between the two amplifier modules is done nearly interruption free within a switchover time of less than 5ms. Besides the variable gain control (MGC/AGC) and max. 1:32 splitting the unit additionally supports slope-equalization, RF power monitoring, threshold alarming, 2 front panel monitoring ports as well as 1:1 redundant dual power supply. |

Line-Amplifiers Splitters & Combiners The HQS series represents variable gain L-Band amplifier units with integrated 1:8 or 1:16 splitters. The variable gain line amplifier modules support gain-control ranges of max. 0 to 25dB or 0 to 30dB. The 19″/1RU rack mount chassis „HQS108C“ (1:8 splitter chassis) and „HQS116C“ (1:16 splitter chassis) each with one amplifier slot allow insertion of the corresponding amplifier module HQA2535M“ or „HQA3040M“. The „HQA2535M“ amplifier allows variable gain-control of max. -10 to 15dB @ standard gain mode and max. 0 to 25dB @ high gain mode while the „HQA3040M“ amplifier provides variable gain-control of max. -10 to 20dB @ standard gain mode and max. 0 to 30dB @ high gain mode so to achieve best signal performance within the network. The HQS series features variable gain-control (MGC/AGC), slope equalization, RF power monitoring, switchable LNB-supply, a 10MHz external reference signal input and 1:1 redundant dual power supply (hot-swappable). An integrated RF power detector measures the RF output power with 70dB dynamic range. The units have a front-side LC-Display/keypads for user-friendly local configuration while front-side status LED´s indicating amplifier and power supply status. Remote configuration & monitoring can be done via its rear-side Ethernet-Interface (WebGUI, SNMP). This high quality HQS splitters together with the inserted line amplifier module provide various advantageous functionalities, superior RF performance and excellent signal quality.
